Second day - Smørrebrød

We started our day of by having breakfast. And then we went to school where we cooked traditional Danish open sandwiches - Smørrebrød, pear pie and soups. We were divided into groups and each group was given a task to make their own type of Smørrebrød with the ingredients we had. Soups we had to prepare with the vegetables that were on disposal, so we had to think about what and how to cook. The Denmark sandwiches we made were with a herring and vegi (various vegetables). Chef gave us instructions to make it pickled, crunchy, moisty and firm. We believe that we followed all the instructions and made amazing and tasty food. We enjoyed our meal and shared our thoughts at the end and talked about upcoming events. After we finished we went to our houses and enjoyed the rest of the day. Some of us decided to bake some cookies. We went down for dinner where we talked about the Christmas festival.
