Dan 11 - Zaključna predstavitev

Danes smo se zbudili v rahlo zasneženo jutro. Zjutraj smo se kot po navadi oblekli in odpravili na zajtrk.  Odpravili smo se v šolo kjer nas je že pričakoval naš profesor. Zmenili smo se, da mu danes pripravimo pehtranovo in ocvirkovko. Trije smo delali potico ostali pa so pripravljali vegetarijansko bolognese omako in svoje testenine ter božične kruhke. Danes je k nam na kosilo prišel tudi ravnatelj njihove šole. Najprej smo postregli ocvirkovko s profesorjevo domačo salamo. Za glavno jed smo imeli testenine z vegetarijansko bolognese omako. Za konec pa še pehtranovo potico in njihove božične kruhke. Nato smo vse pospravili. Za našega profesorja pa smo pripravili še predstavitve kaj vse smo se naučili v teh dneh. Profesor je bil zelo zadovoljen. Od njega smo se še poslovili in se počasi odpravili nazaj v kamp. Malo smo si odpočili in se še zadnjič odpravili na večerjo.  Počasi smo dokončno spakirali se še malo podružili in odšli spat.

Deseti dan. Čokoladno DOŽIVETJE. Drugi del

Zbudili smo se v najbolj mrzlo jutro do zdaj ampak smo je z dobro voljo in pričakovanjem odpravili na zajtrk potem pa na našo vsakodnevno pot v šolo. V šoli smo se pripravili ter se odpravili v učilnico kuharstva kjer nas je že pričakal profesor Kent ter nas zopet z dobro voljo pozdravil ter poprašal po počutju ter po prejšnjem dnevu. Nato naj je predstavil današnji spored ter naloge ki jih smo jih morali danes končati. Takoj smo se lotili dela z pripravljanjem komponent prejšnjega dne. Kent nam je nato demonstriral oblivanje tortic ter moussa. Z navdušenjem smo ga opazovali ter se nato tudi sami preizkusili v glaziranju slaščic. Potem smo se pripravili za temperiranje čokolade. Kent nam je demonstriral ter podrobno opisal vse postopke na zelo zanimiv način. Kent je bil zelo radodaren saj je nam in profesorjem podaril tudi veliko čokolade za v Slovenijo. Ko smo temperirali čokolado smo nadaljevali z pripravljanjem pralinejev ki smo jih polnili z slano karamelo ali z mangovim ganachem. Potem smo si pripravili odlično kosilo ki smo ga pripravili z veliko ljubeznijo. Nato smo ga pojedli ga pohvalili in ga tudi malo kritizirali. Nazadnje smo še očistili kuhinjo ter spakirali vse slaščice za domov. Ko smo prišli domov smo začeli z pripravljanjem predstavitve za jutri. Potem smo šli na večerjo ter se še malo podružili nato pa počasi odšli proti sobam ter se pripravili za nočni počitek.

Day 9 - THE Chocolate Experience, part one

Today we woke up and we went to school as usual. It was a special day because we had a chocolate day! We were learning and preparing pastry with one and only Kent Vendelblo Madsen. He is an amazing chef and a great professor who explained every detail and helped us while we were making our creations. When we came to the school he greeted everyone with a handshake and we were very impressed. First he gave us the recipes and split us into groups of 3. We made flatbread, strawberry mousse, almond sponge, go nut cake, strawberry glaze and salted caramel. He brought us three sorts of chocolate that we could eat as much as possible and we were crazy after that. There was dark, white and milk chocolate. Everything that we made will be finished tomorrow.  We had a break like every day and then at the end he gave us time to make our own lunch and it was very, very delicious. We cleaned up everything and he was very proud of us and surprised of our work. We also showed him the virtual walk of our school (The Secondary School of Gastronomy and Tourism Ljubljana) and a bit of our country Slovenia which he loved, he also said that he would love to visit Slovenia and our school and make some good pastry with us. It was a pleasure working with Kent and we are so excited for tomorrow to have another day with him. We left the school quite happy and it was sunny for the first time since we came to Denmark. We enjoyed our long 10 minutes walk and we were sleeping in our houses because we were very tired. At 6 we ate our dinner and we had our evaluation. One of our classmates (Gal) went to a hotel with our teacher Mr. Alen Kvrgić to get an experience of serving in another country. Our math teacher Mr. Rok Strehovec was giving lessons in a school in Haderslev. He said it was a nice experience. It was an amazing and unforgettable day for all of us.
